Detachment

Image
This morning I walked out my door to find a perfectly crafted spider web spanning the entryway to the outdoors. The little critter was gracefully poised in the middle of its creation. At first I was going to simply duck underneath and proceed with my morning walk, but I knew I would undoubtedly forget about it when I returned and receive a face full of web. So, I grabbed a little plant-like object and began to undo the being's work. As it scurried away a thought came. "When my endeavors in life are undone, may I accept it as the greater good if they were obstructing the path of another being."

B e a u t y.  Disparate Thoughts: (...that I guess compose a description) I had to start an art blog for a class once. This is my favorite, or at least most memorable, piece. It's kind of like the Library of Alexandria. One of, if not the only, surviving pieces from that page. My college email got disconnected.    Ananga is a name for  Ś r ī mat ī  R ā dh ā r ā ni . This is Her. It feels fitting to start this blog with Her image. This is Her art.  And She is art. | Ananga |
